JOB DESCRIPTION
At TLF, we are looking for a Junior Solution Consultant who will join a team of optimization experts,
solution designers, and experienced consultants to develop smart, data-driven planning solutions for our
customers. You will dive into the world of optimization and advanced planning, learning how to turn
complex business challenges into practical, high-impact solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will
solve real-life puzzles in logistics, manufacturing, and workforce planning, using cutting-edge APS and AI
technologies.
Our customers range from mid-sized organizations to large international companies across industries
such as logistics, metals, and consumer packaged goods. They rely on us to help them plan smarter, work
more efficiently, and stay competitive. As part of our team, you will play an active role in shaping these
solutions while developing your own expertise in a fast-growing and innovative field.
This position is full-time and includes a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
YOUR ROLE
As a Solution Consultant, you work at the intersection of business, data, and technology to design and
implement customer-specific planning solutions with measurable business impact. Your focus will lie on:
Learn how to translate business questions into practical technical solutions, with guidance from
senior consultants
Support customers throughout the solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis,
data validation, testing, training, and go-live support
(Assist) in designing and documenting data integrations between the APS platform and customer
systems
Analyze datasets to help improve planning performance and KPIs
Configure and implement customer-specific solutions in data-intensive APS systems using
modern development tools
Collaborate closely with customer users (such as planners) and internal teams, including technical
consultants and project managers
Contribute to pre-sales activities by supporting demonstrations, documentation, and basic
analysis
YOUR PROFILE
First and foremost: like solving challenging puzzles!
Have a degree in computer science, information management, operations management, supply
chain management, economics and data analysis, industrial engineering or similar
Have a high abstraction and analytical capability: you are able to quickly understand business
processes and discover optimization potential
Like interacting with and moving between customers (ranging from management to planners)
and our technical consultants when discussing, defining and demonstrating our planning
solutions
Adaptable and comfortable with change in project scope, priorities, and working at the customer
location.
Has a technical foundation or ambition to grow in modern programming languages
Excellent communication skills
Like working in an international environment as one team: working with international colleagues
and international customers
Have affinity with the industry markets we specialize in
Have a desire to learn about different business sectors including, metals (steel, aluminum), food
processing (protein industry, prepared food ) , logistics services and many others
Is flexible and are willing to occasionally travel both domestic and internationally
Ticking one or more of the following boxes will be regarded beneficial, but not required;
Experience as a Supply Chain Planning consultant
Experience with APS solutions, like for example DELMIA Quintiq, Ortems, Kinaxis, Relex, Arkieva,
More Optimal, OMP, etc.
Experience as a Planner or Manager within supply chain planning combined with advanced
knowledge of APS solutions within our customers’ markets
