Your challenge

You need to understand the market, business and M&A drivers of subsectors where Blacktrace is acting and focusing. To model this market and the market players and to identify the market leading and M&A indicators on which market and M&A activity expectations will be based.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Understanding and analyse the dynamics of the market segments Blacktrace is focusing
• Identifying the drivers of market segments, of market players and of M&A activity
• Generating and analyzing M&A related data (transaction values, multiples, etc.)
• Extensively modelling in Excel the market segment in question and analyse leading market, business and M&A indicators
• Generating insightful M&A analyses based on the output generated from all Excel models and data gathered about M&A and market players
• Generating longlists
• Report through Information Memorandums and M&A opportunities

Your team

Blacktrace is an award winning independent boutique advisory firm specialized in international M&A transactions. The team consists of specialists from different areas of expertise in M&A.

We are looking for

To be suitable for this role you have at least a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Economics or Business and Administration or finalising your degree. You display a high level of integrity, confidentiality, stress resistance, flexibility and creativity. You need to have an (i) outgoing personality, (ii) highly analytical and (iii) presentation skills to deliver Information Memorandums and M&A publications. You show self-propelling skills to find your way within an M&A specialized boutique advisory firm to achieve the goals agreed. Your English as well as Dutch language is excellent in wording and writing. You will do extensive research and Excel modelling on various market segments, businesses and M&A related topics.
